An Allergen Screen or ELISA (Quantitative Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay) identifies common reactive sources that pose a threat to your families’ health and wellbeing. Once identified environmental adjustments can be made to eliminate these from your living environment.
Areas – Living Areas
Provides: The Allergen Screen will identify animal (cat and dog), rodent, dust mite and cockroach against a table that will indicate if the Allergen level is acceptable or unacceptable.
Sample Collection: Dust sample, Polycarbonate Air Filter Cassette collected with a HEPA vacuum from various areas for duration of 5 minutes.
Sample Methodology and Evaluation:
Chemicals are released when certain cells come into contact with an allergen. These chemicals can cause injury to surrounding tissue – the visible signs of an allergy is a quantitative Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA) analysis.
This analysis is for a combination of Cat, Dog, Dust Mite and Cockroach allergens, restricted to the following five allergens: Der p1, Der f1, Can f1, Fel d1, and Bla g1.
